A message from the Officer Commanding 2495 Hythe Squadron

Thank you for taking the time to look at our website.

As a cadet in the Air Training Corps and 2495 (Hythe) Squadron you will benefit from learning skills in the areas such as Fieldcraft, Flying (both Powered and Gliding), Target Shooting, Radio Communications – and many more.

We have wide range of activities for cadets to get involved in and as well as the academic sessions we participate in sports such as football and rugby for the male cadets and hockey and netball for the female cadets and athletics / cross country and swimming for all.

Please have a good look around the site to see what interests you...there will be many things of that I am sure!! We pride ourselves on the quality of our cadets and their pride in THEIR Squadron. Our aim is to improve the skills of all our cadets, teaching them both self discipline and leadership skills which they can then take forward in to their future careers, whether that be within the Armed Forces or in Civilian life, but most of all we aim for all our activities to be FUN. You will be welcomed from your very first night as a cadet of 2495 (Hythe) Squadron and will soon make many new friends. Come and visit us for a “taster evening”
The only question is “ARE YOU ABLE TO RISE ABOVE THE REST???”
